I'm not sure if you still need them Alessandro, but here are some Polish constructions based on Polski Fiat 125p. They're fairly known but I haven't seen them featured in this thread so here you go. I don't have pics for all of them currently, but they should be available in period magazines, if I search a bit.

1. PF 125p 4x4 – FSO made; PF 125p Kombi with a 4 wheel drive from Lada Niva; slightly flared wheelarches; engine 1.5, 75 hp; not known how many were produced, one source states a "two-figure number", but that's doubtful.

2. PF 125p Cabriolet prototype – FSO made; shown in 1974; a single pair of elongated doors; VAZ 2101 rear lights cluster; new dashboard; roof folded and stored behind the rear seats; strengthened chassis.

3. PF Dutton – floorpan, chassis and drivetrain of a PF 125p; made at Dutton and sent for evaluation to OBR SO (Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Samochodów Osobowych – Passenger Cars Research & Development Centre, which was the FSO R&D department) in 1977; production was seriously considered in ZKS (Zakład Krótkich Serii – Short Series Workshop, a unit of FSO responsible for low volume cars) but expensive glassfibre body decided against it; the current whereabouts of this car are unknown.

4. Two camping prototypes: 1973 factory prototype based on PF 125p Pick-Up prototype "basic" version and 1980 Niewiadów prototype (biggest camping vehicles producer in Poland) based on standard PF 125p Pick-Up.
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

PF 125p 2.0 GTJ – made in mid-70s by FSO Sports Department (Dział Sportu FSO) with a 2-litre 132 hp engine from Fiat 132p; 185 km/h;  in 1975 developed into the PF 125p 1.8 16V –  engine from Fiat 124 Abarth, 195 hp, 230-240 km/h; body white and red; in 1977 fittd with Uniball suspension and low-profile tyres. A few street versions were made with the 2-litre engine, fitted with a body kit and 2000 GTJ badging.

PF 125p 3.2 – 170 hp; made in 1977 using an engine from FSO director's Fiat 130 that was crashed by his driver.

PF 125p 2000 GTI – made in 1978 using a 2-litre engine from Lancia Beta; it was the last factory racing 125p as FSO started producing (and racing) Polonez.

Two 1974 special editions with bigger engines from Fiat 132p, lowered suspension, alloy wheels, racing details (mirrors, steering wheel, rev counter, black stripe with white outline and "Monte Carlo 1600" or "Akropolis 1800" written on them):
PF 125p Monte Carlo – 1.6-litre, 98 hp, 170 km/h;
PF 125p Akropolis – 1.8-litre, 111 hp, 175 km/h;

Both cars commemorated class wins of factory racing cars in Monte Carlo and Acropolis rallies in 1972. The factory rally cars had 1.6 DOHC engines with 105 hp, black matte bonnets and navy blue stripes with white outline and "Polski Fiat 125 P" written on the stripes. Both the rally cars and the special editions were painted bahama yellow (most of them at least, as supply problems necessitated use of other pastel colours sometimes).

BTW: the 6-door Jamnik station wagons were also factory-made, just like the sedans and cabriolets. Oh, and those were indeed 6-door despite appearance, as the middle pair was smaller and didn't have outer handles.

A by-product of the station wagon Jamnik was a short 3-door car nicknamed Kaczorek (Little duck). The middle part of the car was cut out to create the 6-door version and the rest was welded back together. There is a photo of such a car, but I'm not sure if it was actually driveable.

If you have any questions about the Polish Fiats and their derivatives or need some translations, feel free to ask. I guess it will be easier for me to browse througho ld polish magazines or make some enquiries, being here in Poland. Or maybe not, after all the internet has made the whole world so small  ;)

Dear ImpishGrin, the book will actually include only not-factory-made cars, but your info is nevertheless very very interesting. Thank you!

It's always difficult to say what is indeed factory-made and what not in a socialist business model, but I would say that for sure the Dutton and perhaps the Niewiadów camping-car can be considered projects born outside FSO. Do you agree?

Pictures of AR - MG TD replica from Spain,

Martare GT from Belgium

A period picture of Metalex that I've found in a magazine some time ago. Sorry for poor quality. If needed, I'll try to make a scan tomorrow.

A new sports automobile Metalex-203 with a new engine (in 1977 it had a forced up to 125 hp engine of VAZ 21011).
I believe the Martaré GT is actually Dutch.

Good that you remembered Konela!

Great contributions!  :D Thanks!

Any further info about the Kaliakra?  ???

faksta

We've had Kaliakra (as well as its twin called Laura) as a puzzle here somewhere. They were both handbuilt, I can look for some further info. It was never called Lada Kaliakra though.

In the meantime, Zastava have assembled VAZ cars for some time, and they have also made a modification which is described in the web as 'Lada Sanitet'. Bottom right on this photo:

Some sources state that they were just 'made in Serbia and Montenegro', probably meaning that it was not Zastava product. I honestly don't know.

als15

Thanks for the Kaliakra: I just forgotten it...

I have some of those catalogues and digging on the Internet and trying to understand them with my non-existant knowledge of Serbian language I understood that they are made by a special department of Zastava, that assembled Ladas under license. Saying they are made in Serbia is correct, because it's after the war.
However, I'll further investigate this topic...  :P

VAZ 2103 by Porsche design

If I'm not wrong, this should have been a restyiling proposal for Lada itself, not a commercial product. Isn't it?
