I see!

OK - the journey begins with enlightenment, an encounter with an amusement park coflagration, a race on the highway, an includes a urilogically-challened schoolmate.

This is the third 'solo'album released by this artist. Indeed, he was closer to a solo artist than most.

One of the more popular songs on this album was a re-make of a recording done by a band of which he was once a member. The artist cited Carol King as an influence for some of the other songs on this work.

Thom Mooney (drums, formerly of the Munchkins), and Robert "Stewkey" Antoni (vocals, keyboards) joined before their first concert, opening for the Doors in 1967.

Oops - I guess it's my turn!

Cats, dogs, Salvador Dali, a pink bird, the destruction of the Chrysler Building, and one cool jerk lend an international flavor and feel to this album. .

Hank, for no reason other than being high on big medicine and the king of beers, got himself a taboo idea.  With his new picture of the future in his mind he raced out the backdoor of the junkyard to head off to sin city and get back his girl Marie.  In the process he accidentally hit a man.

OK, I'll bite on this one if nobody else will. :)

Hank, for no reason other than being high on big medicine and the king of beers, got himself a taboo idea.  With his new picture of the future in his mind he raced out the backdoor of the junkyard to head off to sin city and get back his girl Marie.  In the process he accidentally hit a man.

With the exception of the title song, the clue encompasses the entire track listing of the album Tied to the Tracks (1989) by Treat Her Right.

Quote
A1  Junkyard
A2  Picture of the Future
A3  Marie
A4  Big Medicine
A5  Hit a Man
A6  No Reason
B1  Back Door
B2  Tied to the Tracks
B3  Hank
B4  Taboo
B5  King of Beers
B6  Back to Sin City

A clue please, kind sir.
Title: Re: Name That Album?!

Oops, I forgot about this.

It was perhaps unfair to give a crossword-type clue without the enumeration, so let's put that right.

To find album and artists, obese Chief must eat when confused - and Ken's fooling around! (7,2,3,5 and 5,2,4)

Alternatively, if crosswords are not your thing, then pack your trunk and head for Arizona.

And if that doesn't do this:  (http://i.imgur.com/2WV1y.gif)

...then maybe it will do this: (http://i.imgur.com/twxbl.jpg)
