New parts for the race car.  Spindles to lower the front by 2" and billet aluminum brackets for the alternator and power steering pump.

I guess I otta get out and do some wrenching.

Warm weather + people staying in-state. I expect it will be a great weekend for your business.

28°C and sunny here in Antibes yesterday but rain today.
More rain tomorrow so expecting an unusual qualifying for the Monaco GP.
Sunday probably dry so it could be anyone's race - it will all depend on the leading grid positions tomorrow - in other words 'a complete lottery'..... ;)

This morning is dry, sunny and hot here in Antibes this morning but even though I'm only a few kilometres away from Monaco it could be raining there - such is our micro-climate here in the south. Anyway it's just under one and a half hours until Saturday morning practice so it won't be long until we find out the situation.
I'm certainly hoping we see yet another different team/driver winning on Sunday.
Go Sauber and Lotus!

Good news - it's sunny in Monaco!
Raikonnen, Rosberg & Schumacher pounding round at the moment...

Interesting session that ended a few minutes early after Maldonado hit the Armco in Casino Square.
Di Resta also damaged his Force India coming out of the tunnel.

Fastest is Rosberg from Massa, Vettel, Alonso & Grosjean......
Should be a close qualifying.

How about you post these updates with a SPOILER warning, for those of us who are DVR'ing for later?  ;)

Okay, my apologies......
I honestly didn't think of that.

I shot a car show this evening.  I really enjoyed it.  I "disciplined" myself to shoot only in RAW format and only do 2 "takes" of any given shot, unless a flash fill was necessary.  I'm pleased with the results.  Eventually they'll find their way to the website listed in my profile.  Oh...there was a Target 550 update this morning, too:
http://www.target550.com/gallery/176_lock_tail_section_air_fire_lines_cockpit%20floor/index.html Some kool shots there.  I didn't do 'em, but I did the web update.

re: F1.  Go Kimi!

This is such a fun site that a quick Google search for a car turned into a four-hour marathon. Registered and made my first erroneous Rookie ID :lmao:

Thanks Ultra! There's nothing quite like paddling around the shallow end while experts do laps and pros are doing trick dives. Getting a whole new level of respect for the "locals".

The amount of auto knowledge stored here and possessed by the membership dwarfs any and every other site on the net, bar none.

Otto Puzzell and I are very proud of our creation.  Glad you are enjoying it.

And what's more, you won't find a friendlier site on the 'Net.
I've given up ALL other sites as I couldn't stand the back-biting, criticism, unpleasantness and general nastiness on so many of them..

So far, I've found this to be the case.  A very nice group of gearheads.

I'm gonna have to limit my AP time since Speed Week on the salt flats starts in 2 weeks...and the 'season' runs through October.  I'm really looking forward to it (and I hope I can get my car ready to race by September) but when all the dust and salt has settled, I'll be back for the winter.

In the mean time, I'm ready to pitch my power steering pump thru the window.  I'm having more fun than one could possibly imagine trying to get the new brackets to fit.

Otto's next post will be his 25,000th post.  We are all truly lucky to have him here and I wanna say how much I appreciate all he does.

Here's to you, Mr. Puzzell!!!
