I've not seen the US Top Gear but always watch the UK one, it's not bad but was much better years ago when it was about cars.

I think the US version is a little too mellow and the hosts are not that charismatic. J. Clarkson's would be interrupted with a permanent "beep!" I guess – but his and his colleagues sense of humour is one of the main reasons to watch the show.

Production quality of the US features is not too bad, though.
