In Herat there are commercial flights, the Ariana (http://www.flyariana.com/), the Pamir (www.pamirairways.af/) and the Kamair (www.flykamair.com/), several civilian flights with different purposes (also humanitarian...) and military flights. My job is to control them, giving info, instructions and autorizations (called clereances) when they contact me leaving Kabul Center till they land and when they start up the engines till when they are airborne and they leave my airspace.

First I've read this thread, and surprised people keep coming back here, and posting more.

I'm enjoying the autopuzzles, and most are really tough.  I have a lot of car books, and even then, few clues to look things up.  Been collecting sales literature for about 35 years, and have over 30,000 pieces, from all continents.
