Lada Nivas - very sturdy and cheap but not very fast. The 30 min guarntee isn't offered in the winter here.

I saw a bunch of Ladas in Sault St. Marie, Ontario the last time I visited in 1982.  They all looked like mid-'60's Fiats, which I suppose they really were.  I always wondered whgat all those Lada owners did for parts after the 1980 Russian invasion of Afghanistan.  I was under the impression that the Canadian government stopped the importation of Russian cars after that.  It must have resumed later...did it stop for while, or did the Lada just run into a period of political incorrectness?

She played basically the same part on DEAR JOHN that Marilu played on TAXI.  A lot of critics considered DEAR JOHN to be TAXI without the wheels.  Isabella has always been somewhat of an underrated actress.
