In the past years snow has been rarely seen in this area of the world. White Christmas didn't happen every year, but apparently more often as I was young.
Some say this part of the world (Central Europe) will economically profit from global warming. A great comfort...

On another note - Poland's been surprisingly little hit by the global economic turmoil. Feels like (almost) nothing's happening, at least until I open a new  issue of The Economist

We don't have as much snow as they up Ultra's way, but it was enough for me to throw out my back, after the plows put a 4 foot pile of compacted snow and ice at the end of my driveway.

My neighbor plows me out for free pizza.
