Fair warning, AutoPuzzlers!

82 Topics Rookie puzzles remain unsolved. 71 Experts puzzles, and 161 Pro puzzles, too. I will inflict upon this forum a rain of Leonard Nimoy's golden-throated warbling until these number are brought down to a more manageable level. The example below is, believe it or not, is held up as one of Der Spockster's "better" recordings. It only gets worse, from here. Get crackin' on the growing backlog of unsolved puzzles, or there will be more Leonard Nimoy singing posts. You wouldn't want that, now would you?

I have a suggestion that might help cut them down.

At a certain point, merge remaining threads from the same author into larger threads once they are past their prime. Essentially consolidate the backlog into a 'group' thread, that can still be solved one by one at their own pace. That way it's possible to maintain the amount of puzzles but with a lower thread count...
