Too much talent for William Shattner, who has released his own music.

Member of the original Star Trek?

Male or Female?

Male and except for an extreme reference to Spock in that song only, this artist has nothing to do with Star Trek.  F Clef to the max.

David Gilmore?

No.   This artist is famous for his skills on his instrument and his instrument is not the same as Gilmour's.

This is the title track of his most famous album and is held up as one of the greatest albums in the history of jazz.  Known for the pop-n'-slap technique, you can also hear downward thrusts of the entire right hand, striking two or more strings from above with his fingernails on this tune.

Stanley Clarke did the drums on Paul McCartney's 'Pipes of Peace' album. It's one of Macca's best, in my opinion.

Yeah, my mind plays tricks on me. He did the bass, of course, not the drums... The drummer on that record was a rather unknown one by the strange name of Ringo Starr.
