One point for the identification of this vehicle

fyreline

Wow. At first I thought it was one of those Minneapolis-Moline orchard tractors, but it's even more elaborate than those.  I do still think it's an orchard tractor of some kind . . . possibly European?

European indeed, but not meant for orchards  ;)

I recall there was a letter in Classic and Sports car years ago by someone who compared this tractor to Jim Tiller's Allard J2X after that appeared in the mag as he'd succesfully raced it at the salt flats. There were definite similarities, not just in colour!
I can't remember what it was though.
A Porsche perhaps?

It's a 1954 Porsche P312 Tractor, the body was designed specially for use in coffee plantations to avoid damaging the plants. This is the sole survivor of c.200 built.

Designed by Porsche indeed, but built by...

Locked for you!

Allgaier, I suppose

Well done, that's it!

For one point, identify this orange vehicle.
For an additional point, identify the country it was used in and for what purpose it was being used.

Strangely, my search didn't turn this up :).
