There's one difference: this one is not unknown  ;)

Am I correct in thinking it is from Sweden?

guido66

Yes, it is Swedish

guido66

Perhaps 2 more photos will bring this puzzle back to life?  ;)

DeAutogids

It's a Peugeot! (in the background)

Does it say "Elva"?

guido66

Not an Elva. I cannot read what's on the car, but it doesn't appear to match the name of the car.

Oguerrerob

MFI Malmo FlygIndustri 1965 Sweden

guido66

Not the name that I have for it.

pnegyesi

Were the current pictures taken at Hofsnäs?

guido66

I don't know. I can find the source of the recent photos anymore. The older photo is still out there.

pnegyesi

Volkswagen based?

guido66

In the beginning I answered that it was sort of Porsche based. The only remaining source is not clear about this (or it must be and my poor knowledge of Swedish)  ;)

Anyway, I found another photo and 3 sketches

pnegyesi

Thank you. It is now clear. It was called the Cobble Special, based on a Porsche 356

guido66

I'm not certain about the Porsche 356 part (Google translation is a bit unclear) but you've got it! Well done

Paul Jaray

Finally!
Can you post the unaltered pic?
Found it, thanks!

Arunas

Information about who and when built these two (or more??) cars would be appreciated!
