I would say the wheels are either Goggomobil, Renault (as in 4CV) or Panhard. Size-wise I'd opt for the German possibilty, but cannot get any closer than that.

Kind of a goofy looking little car.  Can you tell me:

Make/model?
Country of origin?
Unique feature(s)?

Good Luck!

Welcome to Auto Puzzles, zaktoo, and congratulations on not only your first point, but also on being the first to solve one of my puzzles.

The information I have on the car is pretty much inline with what you posted, however my source calls it an "Avis", and mentions features such as the front and rear being not only the same, but actually made from the same molds.  Also, there are no doors (the body slides back for entry).

However, I think you demonstrated that you knew the car.  Congrats!

Thank you very much :)

It's certainly Avia, as per G. N. Georgano's encyclopaedia of the motor car.

I love this forum so far, I hope to recognise a few more :)

Glad to have both of you here.

Sent to solved and point awarded.

Paul, what publication is that scan from please?

I'm afraid I can't help you, I found it in the net and it's not in my language...

Itis from a small Dutch book called "Kleine auto's en autoscooters" by R. Das, a publication from circa 1960. It was nr 31 in the 'Arti Beeld-encyclopedie', Alkmaar, Noord-Holland. Later the series was called 'Alkenreeks' until the late 60s in a similar lay-out, same size and hard cover, then a bit bigger and new lay-out.
