Two outstanding entries in this competition. Each entrant would like your vote on his handwork in meeting the T-shirt Challenge. Coincidentally, each has identified a car that started out as one thing, and either got or will soon receive a heart transplant to make it something more.

Arthur Dent has spent $8039 on a lovely example of a rag top sports car which was once the shape of things to come. Having the top lopped off was the best thing that ever happened to this car, in my opinion.



Light aluminum V8, wedgie style, autumn leaves swirling in your wake - heaven!

StephenM has taken a different approach - a mostly  restored shell of a legendary backroad stormer, to which he's committed hours of toil to make whole, with a very un-Germanic drive-train.



His sushi and sauerbraten special will set him back $9,198
