Well, the weather cut my visit short to this show. Blazing sun when we arrived, but heavy clouds rolled in quickly, and it had begun to sprinkle about an hour into our tour. Heavy thunderstorms rolled in after that and lingered for the rest of the afternoon.

I was able to get some pics, which follow below.

Like the one I coulda, shoulda bought in my 20's.

Ventiports!

A nice selection of Corvettes to admire

Sweet '64 fuelie

A Nova with plenty of 'va'

Sure is great, Rocket 88

This Z/28 Camaro looked to be original.

This is an El Camino. Did you say ute? What is a 'ute?

This Model A rolled in, along with some clouds

Old school vs. bling. I'll take the Mustang, please.

Cheese it - it's the fuzz!

Three generations of Detroit iron.

Very clean '55 resto-rod.

Tri-5 Chevys...

...from here to the horizon (well, almost)

Fuel injected '57 Chevy, starting up...

...and pulling out.

Nicely turned out Corvair Monza Spyder Turbo

Mustang performance - the old way vs. the new way.

Chopped and channeled Merc, with frenched headlights, too. Just needs the interior finished, and a paint job.

Something's amiss here - this young lady has spotted it....

That blue engine block tells you all you need to know!

Buicks - compare and contrast. Which one would a driver aspire to?

Vrooooom!

For Ray B - that big ol' Buick's dash.

How I wanted one of these in '68 - still do.

Reflections of a site admin.

Pretty Packard

Another pic for Ray's photo album.

Back to the future, from your friends at...

This is not an optical illusion - the roof is really that low - I'm not sure how the driver planned to get out if he had an 'incident'.

Oh, Henry!

Looks like a great show. Love that Econoline. The AH looks like a replica so no harm in having a Ford V8.

It was - too bad the weather shut it sown. I could have spent hours talking to the owners.

Nice work, Otto.   Still wanna try for Woodward this year, I do.

Seeing quite a few dream-cruisers in the area this week. I haven't been near Woodward, but a piece on the news indicated the parking lot at the Northwood Center was already clogged with cruisers two days ago.

Well, thanks for the dashboards Otto, but I wonder where did you get that notion I had a special softness for them...

I went again this year.  Spontaneously left on Saturday and drove down.  So spontaneous I forgot my camera.

You and I are a lot alike.

How's your step dad doing?

He is at home and mom doesn't sound panicked anymore.  I think that means he is okay.
