A nice easy one, I just like the photo. Please tell me the names of these men, from left to right, and at what event they are pictured. I may consider an extra point for the best suggestion as to what the driver on the far right is holding behind his back.

Experts? Please do not offer one name until you know them all - that will help other puzzlers.

I'm surprised this is still here after 3 weeks. Too easy for the Pros.

All correct, and one more point to your total. Great drivers from the golden years of road racing.

Umberto Maglioli was easily the youngest one there, and was till driving competitively in the 1970s. When you think about it, he started racing when it was all about pre-war cars taken out of storage, and finished his career in the era of the Alfa Romeo T33. An extraordinary career.

I've decided not to leave the puzzle here for the extra point - that was just my little joke. Giovanni Bracco was reputed to have enjoyed cigarettes and a flask of brandy passed to him by his co-driver during longer events like the Mille Miglia. Different times!
