Not based on a French car, not based on a German car and not Fiat-based. It looks like a rear-engined car. What's left? In spite of its LHD: based on a Hillman Imp?

I was thinking more along the lines of a Seat. it looks a bit like one of the Serra creations.

That's right, based on a Seat 600.
I don't believe Serra was involved though nicanary.
I haven't been able to find any other photos of this car so don't know what it looks like from other angles.  If any Spanish members have any I'd like to see them.

You've probably seen that Twitter page, which mentions a company called Sersa. I can't read Spanish, and my attempts to enlarge the page have failed. May be a lead.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

What I do know is that this car was the main feature in the Spanish monthly classic car magazine AutodrĂ³mo recently, and this is where that picture came from.  There will be lots of others in the magazine too but I couldn't get any from the Internet.
