I found that there exists a company named 'Carlton Automotive', operating in Brussels, Wisconsin, but I could find no trace whatever of their activity as a Turner replica builder. According to my sources, the later examples of Acers were built by the British kit-car manufacturer Carlton Automotive Ltd., still residing in Royston, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Turner was in Wolverhampton
Carlton was/is in Royston, Yorks
