Yes, you're right and try as I might that's actually all I've been able to find out about this car so we'll have to call it solved..
If anyone can find any other info then there'll be another point on offer!

The only thing I can add is that the rear lights seem to be taken from a Phase III Standard Vanguard. Any idea what this thing is called?

I knew I'd seen them somewhere before, although to be honest I thought they were from an Austin A105 Westminster from about 1957.
No idea what it's called; I can only find it on one website and it says nothing there other than what I've written in the heading.

On closer inspection, you could be right about the tail lights being Austin A105  :)
