The car was first unveiled as a prototype earlier than 2010. However, it spent some years in limbo and most of the articles about it that can be found online  are from after 2010, when it seemed that it was coming close to production.

Probably. I haven't been able to find the actual size of the engine, but I know it was supposed to come from a motorcycle, and not a specially powerful one. At first, one engine supplier was announced, and later a different one, both motorcycle manufacturers.

Was the puzzle photo shot at a car show in Spain ?

No. It comes from a presentation of the car to the press and to Spanish authorities, which took place in the factory that was supposed to produce it.

Was the factory located North of Madrid ?

[el_monty]

There were three different places announced for the location of the factory, at different points in time. The first two were North of Madrid and the third one was South of Madrid. If I'm not mistaken, this photo was taken at the third location.
