based on the Adler Autobahn, but with smaller engine

Wendax

Related to the Adler Autobahn obviously, but not based on it as far as I know. Yes, it has a smaller engine than the 2,5 Liter.

D-type

Smaller than 2.5 litres but not 1.5 litre.  Is it  a 2 litre?

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

luisps

Based in the Typ 10 Stromform with the engine of 1.645 c.c. used in the 24 hours of Le Mans?

Wendax

Getting closer with the engine size, not actually based on a Typ 10, although a previous prototype of similar shape was built on a shortened chassis of the 2,5 Liter Typ 10.

targhediferro

Perhaps based upon a Adler Trumpf 1,7 litre?

norberthanke

Based on a Triumph Adler 1,5 Ltr.

Wendax

Not 1,5 Liter and not 1,7 Liter. Not much left.

DeAutogids

Adler 1.8l Studie (I have as year) 1938

Finally! And for all of you wondering where to find information about it: we had the wind tunnel model before (https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2015-44/solved-wendax-1756-adler-1-8-liter-by-fkfs/). I thought a picture of the real car was worth a puzzle of its own, but I will merge the two.

Congratulations to your 200th point, DeAutogids! It would have given you pro status some time ago. Now you have still 200 points to earn in the cosy expert world.  ;D
