Can You Stump the Ferrari Guy?

Let's give this a try...

Post an image of an early Ferrari (subject to the rules set forth below), and earn a point if I am unable to identify the car by chassis number!

The Rules

1.   You must know the chassis number of the puzzle car in order to 'stump' me and earn a point (but feel free to challenge me with images of entirely unidentified Ferraris as well--with no points awarded, of course);

2.   A puzzle car must fall under one of the following categories in order to qualify:

• Early Road-Going Ferraris -- any Ferrari with odd numbered chassis (regardless of coachwork or actual use) manufactured on or before 1954 (through chassis #0355)
• Early Competition Ferraris -- any Ferrari with even numbered chassis (regardless of coachwork or actual use) manufactured on or before 1967 (through chassis #0860)*
• Early Unique Ferraris -- any markedly unique Ferrari manufactured on or before 1974, including in-period rebodies, later rebodies, and heavily modified cars

3.   A substantial portion of the car must be visible in the image (no close-ups or strategic cropping);

4.   I am permitted a maximum of three attempts and/or questions;

5.   I must solve each puzzle within a reasonable period of time (no automatically imposed time limit due to my busy schedule)

6.   I am NOT permitted to use Google Search by Image or other 'reverse image' search engines;

7.   If I fail to identify an eligible puzzle car** after three attempts/questions, or within a reasonable period of time, I will declare myself 'STUMPED' and award a point to the person who posted the puzzle!

*Excludes Dino 206 GT production series (chassis #s 00102-00404)
**If the identity of a car is ever in dispute, I may request input from outside experts, but the final determination will be made by me.

This is a Good Idea, but as I know very little about the subject I can't participate.

It is a good idea and potentially good fun.
The problem is, though, Ferraris are just so well documented that, try as I might, I haven't been able to find a picture of one that you won't know.  I have 42 Ferrari books, some full of pictures of rare and obscure ones, but you'll have them all too so any one I choose will be instantly recognised.  There might just be one out there that you have trouble tracing, but I doubt it.
That's why I haven't posted any more!

Not as well documented as you might think. For example, I seriously doubt that, allowed only three questions, anyone here would be able to identify the car in my original post (with the red question mark) by chassis number.

That particular car doesn't seem to be documented at all!
I suppose you must know the chassis number so perhaps you knew its owner?
It seems to be one of the last Michelotti-designed Vignale-bodied 212 Inters? With a few more guesses it might be possible to identify its chassis number but really only by guesswork.

It really is highly unlikely that I can post a car, knowing its chassis number, that you can't identify...

Not a 212 Inter, but I can't say more.

There was one 250 Europa bodied in a very similar style; is it that one?

P.S. What I did was hit the 'Modify' button instead of 'Quote' - and then Removed it as I wasn't happy with what I'd done.
When you Remove a post it doesn't actually get completely deleted but goes to the 'News, Information and Feedback' board so that it's not deleted forever until you want it to be by deleting it from the NIF board; I was happy to leave it there whilst I was still working on getting the Quote right before moving anything I didn't want to delete back again.
But there must have been another Editor on the site at the same time who thought it would be helpful to remove the posts I'd moved to the News Info & Feedback board and did it before I had the chance to review and move your post back!  Please don't do that Editors whilst I'm still working on any changes!

Not a 212 Inter, but I can't say more.

Wendax had the right idea by posting a car that wasn't entirely unique (one of 25 or so 166 MM Touring Barchettas) and using a photo that wasn't widely available online. It would have been a challenge to identify that car if I hadn't already been familiar with a particular set of photos taken by Rob de la Rive Box in the 1960s.

If one is found on the 'Net and you don't know the chassis no. then I won't know it either because it will not be mentioned (otherwise you would know it) so I still couldn't post it!

I admit to having enough Ferrari literature to fill a small library, but it was all boxed up and placed in storage a few years ago. Of course, my personal database is even more extensive and far more reliable.
