There is no Sunbeam connection. I'm afraid I don't know if the chassis was shortened - I don't think so but cannot be certain.

PS just checked my source. The donor car was damaged and the rear of the chassis had to be replaced with parts from another car. The resulting wheelbase was 108 inches. I have no idea if this is standard for the donor car.

Engine and front half of the chassis are from the same car.

Not a Derby Bentley.  The base car originates from the 1930s.
