Apparently the car was put on a chassis though several sources mention only a "Hülle" (body) for the Fiat 1100 TV. Of course Colani only designed the body, not the whole car.

Lutz Colani was one of the pioneers of glassfibre design in Germany.
Working without FFP was usual at that time. Maybe a reason why he lost his marbles in his later days.
