I popped this into the 'What Car is That?" section about six months ago as I wasn't sure back then what this is. Nobody answered.
I do now know what it is (as does at least one fellow AP fan), so can you gain the point before he does, and tell me the make and model names of this green machine? Good luck.
Blasting up a level.

Could it be the obscure MORIN II listed by Chris Rees in its book MicrocarMania?
It's not a Morin.
I'm guessing again could it be a prototype of SOVAM?
No Sovam connection.
You said earlier that the company also made 4-wheeled commercial vehicles : were these vehicles also "sans permis" like the puzzle ?
AFAIK the commercial vehicles were a form of 'sans permis' but to be honest I have never seen any images of these machines and don't know much about them, beyond them being quite obscure. Sorry!
Aaah, and I thought the puzzle car was quite obscure! ;D
Ha Ha, it only took me 14 years after seeing this car in Nimes to find out exactly what it is!
Is the company still active ?
Was the company located in or near Nîmes ?
I saw this car in Nimes, where I took this photo around 20 years ago, but I'm sorry as I have no information as to where in France this vehicle was made.

I realize the ultimate goal is to identify the builder and model name of the puzzle vehicle, however, I would like to focus on the other vehicle for just a bit in hopes this will aid in identifying the builder. Did the other vehicle share its name with a well-known model of car?
Sadly I don't know the name of the other vehicle, only that it was a four-wheeled light commercial vehicle.

No, I never knew the name to begin with. I took the photo of the mystery Puzzle car myself many years ago in the south of France when I didn't know what it was. Very sadly, my friend and our ex-AP colleague CMetisse told me all about the mystery car and background to its maker (name, location, etc.), but regrettably he is now longer with us to share his huge 'voiture sans permis' knowledge.

And another voiture sans permis identified after 7 years of searching! ;D
This is the ACM 421, built from 1978 to 1980.
And again, could another editor take over Djetset's part? Thank you.
Well done!
