So they built just 1 model, derived from the puzzle car for less than 5 years...Suncar?

That's right, this is the only model they built and sold, but it was not the Suncar (which was a Renault 5-based roadster from memory).

As far as I know, this is the only car model they built, but the business did remain actively involved in cars after the production of this vehicle ceased.
As a car dealer?

Yes, but a specialist one.

For quite a long time I have been keeping a photo of a French microcar unknown to me. Is it related to our puzzle car?

Djetset

Ah ha!  The microcar in my puzzle is totally unrelated to the car in your photograph, but I do know what your 'mystery car' is.  I can PM you with more information on this car if you like?

Djetset

Thank you Wendax, very kind.  An initial answer is on its way, with some more images and proof when I get home just before Christmas  :D

Are we in the right direction naming known makers or is this quite obscure?

Djetset

The maker is quite obscure, although it did have a close association with a slightly larger make too.

Not too many small VSP makers not mentioned yet: Associated to Tomcar?

No, not AFAIK.

Let sum this up:
Built in limited production (in an improved form) for less than 5 years;
Not Acoma\Mini Comtesse, Addax, Bel-Motors, Cicostar, Delsaux, Difauto Minilux, Noval, GMT, Minicat, Puma, Rolt, Seab, Suncar, Vitrex, Willam.

It has to be KVS, linked to Rolux.

Djetset

Thanks, a good summary, but it's none of those listed, and not a KVS either. There are still a few makes not mentioned so far from this busy 'sans permis' era. Happy hunting!

Although I don't think so, any connection to Marden?

Sorry but no Marden connection.

Wendax

Any connection to Gateau?

Djetset

Not a Simplicity, but there is a connection to Gateau.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Wendax

In the early days of Gateau there was a microcar called Libellule, looking like an Acoma Comtesse Sport. Anything to do with it?
