1966 ?
Construction began in 1963 and was finished in 1964

Recap: Built in the U.S. 1963-1964; ran in SCCA D Sports Racing class; powered by a Deutsch-Bonnet Panhard motor

New "freebie" hints: DB motor was highly modified, as was the VW-sourced transmission; car was named after an animal

Land animal. Probably faster than a rabbit or mongoose. Maybe even faster than a roadrunner. Definitely not as fast as a cheetah or gazelle.

I have spent a lot of time checking the entry lists on a well-known website to no avail, and the car is not mentioned in American Road Racing Specials, and now I've reached the end of my expertise Was this car built from the parts of a previous front-engined Panhard car ?

The engine had most likely been used in a front-engined DB Panhard.
