Q387 - solved - 1956 Abarth 750 Spyder by Boano

Road & Track might well have called this car "Torpedo" but I can't find any evidence at all that was an official name for it. A 'Torpedo' was of course historically a type of open car.
I have 6 Abarth books, most of which feature the car, and all call it the Abarth 210A Spyder by Boano, as does the Coachbuild.com site and Berni Motors site (the main world Abarth expert).
I'd like to see some sort of official evidence of that name other than Road & Track before I accept that it is correct!

Yes, 'Carnut', I totally agree with you. Me too, never found this name for the car before in any publication, until I found this 'Road & Track' article... This was the reason, why I posted this puzzle. May be anybody knows more about...
