It isn't easy for me to answer this question correctly: The builder was by far no amateur, as the puzzle car definitely shows,.. he  made some other special and unusual cars...
I hope this helps a little bit...

Built on a 1957 Chrysler 300-C chassis by Gordon Vann for Harry Dundore, owner of Die Craft Corp in Baltimore, MD. "Dundore's inspiration for the car came from a drawing he brought back with him from a business trip to Ghia in Turin."
