The photo shows a 1949 Cita sedan sliding roof model (autopuzzle model), a 1948 Cita sedan and a 1948 Cita convertible ....

Some articles say that this is the Moretti frame # 5001 which should be a 1200 Twin cam ... It's a mystery ....

SACO

Saco, are you sure it is a 1200 cc engine ? Most sources say it is 350 cc powered

Carnut

The puzzle car is the final version of the Moretti Cita 350, which was reworked by Cita designer Count Mario Revelli de Beaumont with a tidied up front grille, which was only fitted to the final Cita 350 cars made, in 1949. The engine was still the 350 cc vertical twin-cylinder motor with an aluminium crankcase and nitrided cast-iron sleeves mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

That's interesting.
Your picture is an extract from the picture I've posted below (the same one as ducamaxx posted), and the caption describes the car as the 1949 version of the sliding roof Cita 350 saloon, but I must say the body is not the same as the one I posted earlier.

Although the styling is the same the car does look wider and lower; the windscreen is definitely shallower, the wheelarches are not the same and the hump over the rear wheels is much more pronounced.

A 750 cc twin-cam engine in a bare chassis is shown in the Moretti book but there is no mention at all of a 1200 cc engine in a Cita-style body.
