More simply : I didn't suspect that Böbel was the Karosseriebauer, as all Böbel buses I knew were large ones, looking very different.

The company history of Böbel was a constant up and down. Several removals, problems with clients (Wendax !?, Trippel). Last station was "Badisches Fahrzeug und Karosseriewerk", where the Matador-Bus was built. Than Bachert-Fahrzeugbau (fire-fighting vehicles) took over.
