The company was not located in the Midlands, so it can't be Carbodies (of Coventry).

I found a couple of names...could it be by LDD (Ludgate Design & Developments) Conversions?
They had several distributors: Top Hat Conversions, A.Hewitt & Co., R.S.I. Motors, K.R.T Cabriolets, R.S Developments and Intrim!

Djetset

Oophs, sorry PJ, it's not LDD. For the moment I've temporarily misplaced my information source for this one, so please bare with me as from memory I think it might be one of the (many) XJ-S converters that you mention, but the name doesn't quite look 100%, so please give me some time to confirm for certain.  Thanks  :)

After some time, I've just re-found my information source for this Puzzle. PJ correctly listed the name of the creator of this XJ-S conversion, which was an original conversion in its own right and not just an agent of LDD. So, locked to PJ to correctly identify which of the companies listed created this conversion?

Time to unlock?
I would like to give PJ another stab at this one first please as he correctly name this Jaguar's conversion company in his list of possible modifiers. So, PJ, one more chance to narrow this one down now before I unlock the puzzle. Good luck!
