Michelotti is involved, but as far as I know, only in the case of The Triumph. By the way, this was also Michelotti's personal car...

Although Michelotti designed one of the cars in this quartet, he is not the connection between the four cars I'm afraid.

The four cars have been produced in Austalia as well from Australia Motor Industries

... yes, each of these models (Toyota Tiera, Rambler AMX, Mercedes-Benz 220S and Triumph 2000/2.5 Pi) were all built in the same Port Melbourne factory by AMI (Australian Motor Industries, with an 'n'). Well done Norbertanke, you get the point.
