Name the name and model for a point please, and sorry for the poor photo quality.

Renault power?
Sorry, but I'm not 100% sure what engine it used!
Is it from a small manufacturer like Moynet or CG or is it a one off?

Sorry but I really don't know very much about this one, apart from its name. As obscure French sports cars are a bit of a personal speciality of mine, I suspect that this is a one-off as I've never heard of the 'make' before.
CWC?
Is it on the internet somewhere?

It might be, but I've just done a very quick search on the name and nothing has come up. I took this photo from a magazine...
Cuynet?
Up to the Pros, and remember that I only know the make, model and year of this car, so no questions please about geography, engine type, the sort of socks the designer wore, etc. Thanks ;)
BH soon...
Into BH it goes...

To clarify, does this mean that you know nothing about the location/event/driver depicted in the puzzle image?
Correct, as I've mentioned before, I know the make, model and year of the car, but nothing about the race location or driver.

Does the 'make' appear to have been named after a person?

No, unlikely.
Was it an abbreviation of some sort?

1965-69?
No, slightly younger.
1970?
No, it's from 1971 to save you time.
Could a version of Alain Barbier's Ibis? (The chassis went through several body/engine/name changes between 1967-1971.)

I'm not sure of any Alain Barbier connection as I know little about this car, but the Ibis name is uncannily close to the name I have for the model, so now Locked to you to find the correct name.

I have also seen it referred to as the 'Ilbis 1300'. Could that be it?
Still very close (especially the '1300' model name which is correct) but I've re-checked the name and it's not Ilbis.

No, you're moving further away from the name than before.

Sorry, I knew it wasn't an SIB (a very different car), but thought maybe your source had mixed up the two. So back to finding a closer variation on IBIS...
Edit: I didn't notice it was locked so nevermind.
Ibex 1300? (If not, please unlock.)

I didn't see what you posted, but I hope it wasn't 'Ibex'.

No, it wasn't Ibex as that's not the right name.

You're moving further away again. As a big clue, it begins with Ib ;)

Ibero?
None of the above so far.

Three of the letters are correct, and the first two are even in the right order!

Ibiza ?
Bingo! At last! Yes, this is the Ibiza 1300 barquette from 1971, which I found in an old copy of the French Sport Auto magazine a few years ago,
sans any other information.
I now have a slight dilemma. Do I award both you and GTE two points each (as this is a BH puzzle), or one point each for Oko getting the name of the car make and GTE for getting the 1300 'model' name?! Thoughts welcome..
GTE has done pretty much the whole work so I reckon he deserves more points than I do. Let's say 2 for him and 1 for me.

Not two points for me; I failed to find the solution. Even one point would be generous, considering I didn't actually earn it.
In fact, I would much rather see the
Sport Auto page where this car appeared (or at least the full image and caption) than receive any points at all!
Thank you Gentlemen, I have awarded one point each to Oko and GTE, and will know move the Ibiza 1300 to Solved. Well done both.
I will try and find out that copy of the magazine page showing this car, but it might take a while so don't hold your breath.
BTW, as an aside the Ibiza's tail lights are taken from a Simca 1300 (like my Djet) so I wonder if this 1300 is based on that Simca's engine. Maybe we will never know :-[
Thanks for the point!
