Citroen XM

You're right, this car is based on a XM. But I'm looking for more details on this particular car.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeasy: it's the 1992 JENSEN One, based on the Citroën XM V6!

Very nice car. At least I like it!

You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

An unusual view for a puzzle.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

The car on the display looks like a modified blueprint of the Citroen CX or XM but neither match perfectly. The screen, whatever it is, is fitted in the center of the XM where the cd/radio/etc is usually installed, but that space is divided into two separate trays from what I can find. Unless it's another French car that shares parts with Citroen. Is this screen an OEM part?

Wendax

The car we are looking for is indeed based on a Citroen XM, but has a name of its own. Locked for you.

I see, thanks.  :) Is the modification done outside France?

Wendax

Was the modification done in Europe?

Wendax

It is a left hand drive car otherwise these buttons would be flipped so that helps to exclude some countries. Is the country in Central Europe?

Depends on the definition, but usually yes.

Does this car's modification match the top view on the above display?

It is the Jensen One designed by Max René (watch designer) in collaboration with Jacob Jensen Design Studio. Jacob Jensen is best known for Bang & Olufsen designs. Two cars were made in 1992, one in silver and one in white. This silver one was based on the top version of the XM (24v 3L V6/177hp) and was first displayed at Geneva Motor Show in 1993. Body panels are made of kevlar and carbon fiber making the construction five times stronger than steel without increasing the weight. The center console we see is a computer controlled distance meter front and back with an electronic memory which remembered as many as four individual seat positions. The silver car was auctioned this early Nov. in Hamburg and it is now German registered.

'When Max René suggested re-designing an existing automobile into a unique automobile I couldn't resist the temptation to give it a shot."
