I feel I should recognise this.  Is it the Fry-Climax?

It's quite possible that you don't, so don't feel frustrated. The background looks like a windswept British airfield circuit but looks can deceive.

Not the Fry-Climax.

Sabakat of Ern Tadgell at Phillip Island

Now here's a conundrum. The Sabaket was based on a  front-engined Lotus 12. and this is definitely not that car. It appears that the puzzle car has been miscaptioned.

However, the owner/driver of the puzzle car was indeed Ernie Tadgell. LOCKED for gte4289 - can you delve a little deeper and tell me what powers this car?  The fact that it's rear-engined is a clue.

Porsche-engined single seater of Ern Tadgell

That's the car. The Sabakat was another of Tadgell's creations but was wrecked and burned out. I think he must have built this car as a replacement racer. Engine was a 1500cc 356 unit.

Another point to you.
