Not many options remaining at this point :)
Certainly not many of the better-known ones, but it's surprising how many completely forgotten brands there were making bus chassis, including many French, Italian, German and US makers with factories in the UK.
Other than those, the remaining ones are incredibly obscure...
So I'll try Foden.
Not Foden nor Karrier. It's not obscure at all

I thought the british brand would it be the easy part
Sentinel?
All the major bus chassis manufacturers have already been tried, so maybe they were not normally a bus chassis maker.
But the only radiator I can find that looks anything like that is Bentley!
They were reputed to make the world's fastest lorries but I can'f find any reference to them making buses...
Wolseley did and they haven't been tried yet...
Straker-Squire?
Armstrong-Saurer ?
Sorry but no to all.
Vulcan?
Sunbeam?
No to both
Dodge?
No.
Since we've exhausted all the actual bus chassis manufacturers apart from a few very obscure ones who just made a handful, was the chassis actually made by a specialist bus-chassis maker or by a lorry or car maker who just happened to supply the chassis and engine for your puzzle bus?
It was a car and motorcycle manufacturer by the time. This bus was built by Licence of this brand. I couldn't find another bus from this brand
BSA?
Triumph?
Triumph is the brand. Locked for you
I could'nt find any reference to Triumph buses. How come ? I'm puzzled.

Let's wait till the answer come!
Triumph wasn't a bus maker (or lorry maker for that matter) so this must be purely a one-off based on the chassis of one of their bigger cars.
Since Maduro seems to have been a bus driver before he became president all I've been able to pull up so far is thousands of pictures of Maduro's triumph in Venezuelan elections...!
I'll have another go today and see if I can get anywhere, but I'm thinking it's unlikely.
I'll give you a hint: Date and Triumph lincence bus, you've got it
Thanks.
It looks around 1925?
Yes
OK, so what else is it you need exactly please?
Coachbuilder
I think I found it. Is it locked ?
I believe it is, yes.
Here's the answer! Carroceria Sirio, Hernandez Bitter & Co.
Apparently it was one of the first buses to be built in Caracas.
I didn't find any other bus from them
:applause:

Does that say "Sirio" or "Stylo"?
I wondered that at first but this accompanied the post:
QUOTE
Carrocerías Sirio, Hernández Bitter & Co., uno de los primeros fabricantes de autobuses en #Caracas, montados bajo patente Triumph (1925)

I think that answers the question!

I think that answers the question!
The caption was typed by the person handling that Twitter account in 2019, and possibly lifted from 1960s author Guillermo Jose Schael, either of whom could have easily misread the stylized script of the 1920s advertisement. I'm still not convinced that this reads "Sirio" as opposed to "STYLO."
By the way, great job at finding this!
Thanks; I'm not fully convinced either!
It does look like "Stylo" the more I look at it!
Very interesting, but..are we sure it is a Triumph chassis? The ad seems to imply that the body is
based on a Triumph patent, but there in no mention of the chassis make.
Just curious and well done Carnut.
PS
Sorry, Triumph chassis is indeed mentioned.
Well found!! That's the one!
I wonder (doubt) if the licensed Triumph chassis was related to the British Triumph car and motorcycle maker as the only motor car it made in the mid-20s was the 10/20 which had a weak 1.4-litre engine and compact (by bus standards) platform, both of which seem very poorly suited to this application. Perhaps we will never know... ???

Thanks!
Is it really Carroceria Sirio though or is it Stylo?
Looking hard at it, it seems more like it says 'Stylo' than 'Sirio'?
Well, It looks like "Stylo", but the only reference found says "Sirio". Maybe Hernández Bitter's family has its origins in Syria (Siria in Spanish). Anyway, I don't know for sure
Another Carrocerias Stylo creation ?
;D Even better known for this one:
Keep searching!!
