I'm surprised this Puzzle has made it this far with so few questions being asked!

I've resisted the inevitable Toyota Hi-Lux answer to say that this is a Volkswagen Taro-based 'Miniliner' articulated truck/trailer combo, made by Beck Fahrzeugbau in Germany.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.
