Make , model, year and coachwork (I don't know) ?
One point if you can solve this one (with proof).
Up!
Up again !
A wild guess: Caproni Cemsa?
:disbelief:
A Lombardi Fiat 500 Cabriolet circa 1950?
Yes ,it is a Fiat 500B 1949 , but I don't know the coachbuilder !
Have you any proof ?
The hubcaps ;D
Indeed ,the hubcaps is similar !
I wait a little before giving you the point ;)
Nothing else ?
Fiat 500b 1949 by Lombardi !
1 point for you !
very close to the Francis Lombardi 1100 cabriolet (1950):

Very close, too : the 1100 A by Balbo
What's this, by whom, from when - for 1 point?:
Remember - solving puzzles using 'Google Search by Image' is BANNED on AutoPuzzles!
Based on GAZ M-20 Pobeda?
I see the similarity!
But no.
Experts?
Far away? Simca 5 or Fiat Topolino in '48-Dodge-style?
No, good guess!
It is a Topolino, but who did it?
I'll lock it for you for one try or 24 hours, whichever comes first.
Carrozzeria "Balbo" used such american-style-parts on its Fiat-derivazioni?
Sorry, it's not by Balbo.
Open again for all Rookies and Experts.

Manato?
No.
You're managing to find some very obscure ones that I've never even heard of though!
At first, I thought, that puzzle would go as an easy task, out of my brains. Secondly, I couldn't have found the book in my library (until today), where I suspected to find the sollution.
So, I tried the most obscure coachbuilders, who worked on Topolinos, I found in my digital library...
Another trial: Does the coachbuilder's name start with M...?
Well, I said they were obscure...!
Yes, their name starts with M...
Marini
Maestri?
Macchi?
Mariani?
Mauri?
One of my last ideas....
Menarini?
Professionals?
I guess Moretti would be too 'mainstream'?
I'm afraid it is, yes.
I said it was an obscure coachbuilder but I think 'very obscure' would be more accurate...!
Manato?

Manato?
'Fraid not.
I had no idea there were so many coachbuilders whose name began with 'M'!
Marcanato?
Monticone?
Would taste sweet, if it's correct...
But I'm afraid it's not right...
Meteor?
Maggiora?
Morbelli?
Not Morbelli.
I think it's time for a clue though so M------lli is right (but don't count the dashes!)
Morelli?
The second letter an "a"?
No!
Mustilli?
Monacesi?
Mantelli?
Time for a recap.
All the following have been discounted, some more than once:

Metalli ?
Bingo!
I had no idea there were so many Carrozzieri beginning with the letter 'M' but I think nearly all of them must have been mentioned!
I did ask when it was from but I think now that you've found the coachbuilder we'll call it solved and give you your point; well done.
Carrozzeria Metalli were a very small Rome-based coachbuilder active in the late 1940s but very little seems to be known about them. This Fiat 500 was built in 1949 and here's the original picture, which I believe shows it in the 1949 Pincio Concours d'Elegance, where it was a prize-winner:

Thank you so much ! A pretty little car, reminding me of the Nueva Argentina. The carrozzeria was the last candidate in Alessandro Sannia's list of Italian coachbuilders. It's very pleasant to find an answer, as so many puzzles now are impossible to decipher. :)
another picture (the old newspaper tells taken in 1948):
Wow!
Thanks.
;)
the plate was issued in october 1948
Shown in L'Automobile in 1949:
I just found that this puzzle is actually a repost of:
https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2012-41/sac32-fiat-500b-1949-by-lombardi-(-)/msg192556/#msg192556
Except that SACO's puzzle seems not to have been correctly identified, which would explain why it didn't show up on search.
I have therefore changed the heading of the original puzzle and merged them.
