One point for the name! One extra point for the name of the designer.
Of course, I'm not allowed to identify cars in the Rookie and Expert zones, I can tell you that I dig this car. 8)
I suppose it will be moved to the Pro-section in a couple of days. ;)
Now it's up to you Otto! ;D
Wow - a lot of "T" rods out there. Did Norm Grabowski build this one?
I'm sorry, but not at all.
It will be a hard nut to crack I guess...
While the length of the head seems to be appropriate for a V8, there look to be only 3 pipes, skewed toward the front of the engine. V6, or trick of the eye?
Well noticed! :)
No, it's not an illusion!
Did it belong to a rock star?
Not that I'm aware of!
European?
You made a huge step forward
English Ford-based?
No Sir!
Italian?
Step by step you're getting closer! (http://www.mysmilie.de/midi-smileys/verwirrt/1/0015.gif) (http://www.mysmilie.de/)
Yes, Italy is correct!
Dino engine?
No!
Hi, I am not able to open this pic... I can see only the upper part of this...according to these threes and to Otto's question....is that the Lancia V6 powered hot rod built in Italy in the 60's by ICANTREMEMBERWHO?
Yes, it actually is! (http://www.mysmilie.de/midi-smileys/froehlich/1/0005.gif) (http://www.mysmilie.de/)
Leave it to the others to figure out who the designer was....
I know this car very well, there are a lot of articles about that in my Quattroruote's magazines at home, but they are more than 4000km away now!! :-\
Fabio Buzzi, 1966.
If it is correct, it will be the 1st case of a solved puzzle without even see the pic!

....in my Quattroruote's magazines ...
and that is no coincidence...
Two more points for the voracious.... (http://www.mysmilie.de/midi-smileys/unsortiert/1/0002.gif) (http://www.mysmilie.de/)
Now that is an amazing achievement...
Maybe that's a way to make an even higher category than Professional? When you get past 400 solved puzzles, you're no longer allowed to see the pictures, you have to guess only from other guesses ;D

You're welcome. ;D
Well Otto, without your guesses, (and without the pic) I would not have been able to find it, of course! You found out that it was an Hot-Rod, Italian and v6-powered. From the visible part of the pic I realized that was not a recent production and I recognize a pic of the first italian hot-rod...google did the rest.
Thank you!

I wait for every single puzzle to come here......sometimes for months....you are really too good, but I'm feeling lonely....
About your suggestion, @re, it's OK but do not forget that you have to leave your country and use a GPRS connection in a place where today is Christmas and people think we are in year 1398 (more or less)!

:lmao:
another pic:
:D
Please identify this vehicle for a point.
Experts?
A "T-Bucket" - a Model T body on a Model A frame fitted with a Ford V8 "flathead" engine. The builders could - and did - give all sorts of names to their creations.
Lancia Aurelia B20 base?

Lancia Aurelia B20 base?
Yes.
48-hour lock for you to identify the coachbuilder.
I've found it attributed to F. Buzzi in 1966. He ought to have been hung in public, very, very slowly!

That's it! A point for you.
By the way, I didn't realize until after creating this puzzle that it was a repost. The original puzzle can be found here (https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/2011-39/solved-35-of-all-'hot-rod'-lancia-b20-by-fabio-buzzi-1966). (Mods, feel free to merge.)
