Johno

I think it's a 1961 Fiat Abarth 850 Coupe Allemano Scorpione

Carnut

Almost but not quite.
Locked for you.

On some sites there is the addition of 'Cisitalia'  and reference to engine sizes 760, 800 and 850.
The Cisitalia seems to be reference to the car having been also produced in Argentina.
Fiat Abarth 850 Coupe Allemano Scorpione Cisitalia
If it is in fact an Argentinian car it would be a Cisitalia Abarth 850 Scorpione Allemano   (try getting all that on a badge!)

Carnut

It's not a Cisitalia!
It is an Allemano Fiat Abarth as you said but I don't think Scorpione is part of its name and it's not an 850..
Still locked for you.

Last stab at this then.
It's not the 750 as the front edge of the bonnet has the wrong line. Is it one of the few produced with the 1000cc engine?

Carnut

No, you're skirting around the answer!
Check your facts again...

Here goes. The only additional models I can locate include a rather confusingly titled 'Abarth 600 1300 Carrozzeria Allemano' which has the same body shape. Listed as being made in 1959, so before the 850's.
If this is incorrect please unlock it as I keep wanting one (having spent so long looking at them) but can't afford it!

Carnut

Sorry Johno but it's not a 600 or a 1300 and it's not from 1959.
Will let the other Rookies have a go then, but that doesn't stop you from continuing to look!

1960 Fiat Abarth 750 Coupe by Allemano.

Carnut

That's it, yes.
Bad luck Johno.
I thought it was quite easy to find...

The simplest of mistakes, The bonnet line of the 750 spyder is wrong so I discounted their being a 750 Coupe with a different front end.  Still it's kept my busy for a while and I've learned a lot.
Well done Marmer.
