Is this like a beach-car home-built?
As there's hardly no beach at that place it was built I wouldn't call it a beach car.
But yes, it's a home-built.

hard to answer this question.
It's not built for a certain event or something like that.
And not for a specific task either if that's what you mean.

??? Sorry, but I don't understand that question.
sorry about that ,Im not the greatest at wording things sometimes,I mean that the front of this car sort of resembles the 3-wheeled car (Sam) by the Cree Ltd Co.?
I'm not aware of any other related car project. The builder did it on his own ideas.
I found out one thing for sure,it,s very difficult to obtain information on car,s like this,I looked everywhere I could think of,but no luck?I,ll keep trying.
This one isn't that easy to find I've to admit.
Im very curious about this odd ball,I hope it doesn,t end up in the black hole.
I guess it won't enter the black hole. I'm sure some Pro is already waiting for this.
well, they are a lot smarter than I am.
I hope the pro,s solve it,Im curious.
Just a few days..

Not exactly, but I lock this for you to correct the typo. Also I definetly need the builder's name and the other name under this car is known.
Oophs, I thought I'd already corrected this as realised my typo after I'd pressed send on my Blackberry first time around! It should of course been Ter-Razzo with an 'a'.

Take a look at reply #78. (http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g106/pan1968/Gifs/fluestern.gif) (http://s54.photobucket.com/user/pan1968/media/Gifs/fluestern.gif.html) There you find what it needs to get a point for this puzzle.
One more try before I unlock it again.
Ouch! Your original question was "What's this strange vehicle?" which I think I've answered. However, I think it was built by a Mr B (Berngt?) Meinz, and also used some Alfasud parts, but I don't know what it's other name was (you didn't originally ask) so I guess you will have to unlock it for me and award the point to someone else! :(

You know this is Pro level and there's sometimes a little more work to do.
On the other hand it wouldn't be fair to reject the point for you...
Apparently you found the name of the builder.. Eliminate what you have misspelled and after that you should easily be able to find the other name of the car.
I've
LOCKED it for you again. ;)
Sorry Allemano, but been a crazy day (trying to locate the 1966 Bertone Porsche 911 Roadster for July's Goodwood Festival of Speed, in case anyone knows where it might be now?) so haven't had chance to look further into this one, so you can unlock it as I suspect Wendax may know the final piece of the puzzle ;). Thanks.
Okay. A point is yours anyway, but I'll give an additional point to the quickest puzzler...

Why don't you email Giorgetto Giugiaro at ItalDesign; he probably knows its whereabouts or at least should be able to find out?
This is Beat Menzi's Menix 3 Ter-razzo from 1985, based on a Citroen Ami Super chassis with Citroen GSA engine.
.
Thanks for point and extra information Allemano, und Es tut mir leid, mein Deutsch ist nicht sehr gut! ;)
Sorry, but as you know it's a little time-consuming to translate something printed.
Hope you get it anyway.
The car still exists:
What is this car , for 1 point ! :)
Experts !
Citroen 2CV base?
I don't know the basis of this car ! I only know its name !
A little help from my side: Based on a Citroen, not a 2CV though. ;)

Yes ! a GSA engine !
Locked for FrontMan ! :)
Kindly unlock, as I've not been able to get further.
Sorry but unlock !
These things attached to the back of the car... are they airplane-like wings?
No , it's the lights !
Menix 3 Terrazzo, a Swiss one-off by Beat Menzi, ~1982
The creator himself says this was initially based on a modified 2CV chassis and later on a Citroen Ami Super. Nowadays it has a roof fitted on.
The Menix 3 was built by me as a third self-build around the end of 1982 on a Citroen Ami Super * (without the help of kit parts) * It originally had a modified 2 CV chassis, with the engine of the Citroen GS 1015 ccm. (There were still Americans with Birotor Wankel engines). It is one of a kind. The Menix 1 was built on a NSU Prinz, and Menix 2 extended the life of an Alfasud base by years. After completion, there was a three-month war of nerves for approval in 1985, but that's a separate story. Since the original engine had a few problems, such as built-in "carburetor stove" above the hot oil cooler, plus exhaust gas preheating in continuous use. And since air-cooled engines generally get quite hot, the fuel pump is flanged to the cylinder head as a bonus.

But , it's a repost ( Allemano 873 )

And thank you Wendax !
