""show new replies to your posts"...I swear it was there last week. Now I see:

"Show unread posts since last visit" and "All Unread Topics".

I rather liked the "replies to your posts" link, it served well in the absence of an actual thread subscription functionality.

I did change it.  I use the All Unread Topics everyday.   Didn't mean to inconveniece you.  I will try and return it, but I could goof it up.
