“AutoPuzzles” in the truest sense of the word?

Please excuse me if my post begins with a bit of frustration. But taking part in "AutoPuzzles" is becoming less and less enjoyable for me. Finding new puzzles that aren't easily traceable on the internet is getting increasingly difficult and very time-consuming. Even when you manage to dig up a very rare image from an old magazine and present it as a puzzle, it sometimes gets solved very quickly—not necessarily because of deep knowledge of automotive history, but rather due to highly skilled use of online search tools. In my opinion, that somewhat defeats the original purpose of the game.

I've also been thinking about how players with the highest point-score have much more time to work on thinking  how to solve a new puzzle compared to, for example, rookies.

And of course, google-image-reverse-search creates additional challenges...

So I've been considering how we might address these issues.

Why not make "AutoPuzzles" into actual puzzles in the literal sense?

1)   The puzzle starts in the Master section, with the fewest puzzle pieces visible. Everyone is allowed to participate

2)   If it's not solved, it moves to the Professionals, with more pieces revealed. Everyone can participate, except Masters, who must sit out

3)   If still unsolved, it moves to the Experts, again with additional pieces. Everyone can participate, except Masters and Professionals

4)   Finally, if it remains unsolved, it goes to the Rookies, with even more pieces shown. Masters, Professionals, and Experts are not allowed to participate

5)   Only if the puzzle is still unsolved does it move to the Black Hole section, now with most or all pieces visible, where everyone can participate again

This format would also allow us to use vehicles as puzzles that would otherwise be too easy to recognize if the full image were shown from the start

I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on this idea
Have a great weekend, everyone!
