Carnuts.us is in the process of changing servers from Godaddy - which had gone from SlowDaddy to Nogodaddy - so those who might go looking for it, presevere, it'll be back in a day or so.....

BTW and fwiw, YOUR server is being a little persnickety some days lately TOO. Do you think Homeland Insecurity is listening in on car related sites? Us car guys are KNOWN subversives, ya know. The KU doesn't even use his own name! Whaddaya think he's trying to hide, huh?

The server, 'SECURESERVER.NET' is used for domain tasting we do not allow users to monitor it.

This limit is due, in part, to the high level of activity that happens on these servers,
which require significantly more processing time to generate emails.

It has indeed. I have complained but until we want to spend $300+ dollars a year we will have to share a server with someone, somewhere. That sharing is what is causing the problem.

The CarNuts site is back on the air. Unfortunately, the archives have not yet made it onto the server, but AD is working on that. For now, it is necessary to re-register before logging on. Don't know if that will change.

In any event, for the nonce, we are back and the site is lighting fast. Of course, there's also no traffic to speak of. But, like a good politician, we are taking credit for the good and letting someone else take the blame for any screw-ups. Wny mess with success?

CR is still buggered. Its back to May 2006 for now. Don't get attached it as I'll probably wipe it but at least you don't have to re-register for now.

Because I fucked up.

I was doing lots of admin tasks with multiple pages opened banning spammers and moving theads I was going to try p-heads idea of moving spam to a hidden forum. This thread was inadvertently moved in the course of those events. I apologize for any misunderstandings this may have caused and would be happy to so publicly as well.
