I wouldn't say it was against the rules. As I said, it's quite a nice idea and only up to the "asker's" choice.

What keeps you from making puzzles of these cars?
Somebody said...
If you want you can post this cars as puzzles, and when somebody found it, give him the points. If it's a repost, amen, if it's not, better. If you are in an hurry to know it go directly in the pro section, if you are afraid that somebody will start asking you about this car, just specify at the beginning that you just don't know.
If you prefer to post it here, keep on!

You already did...  I noticed that there is a little bit of history repeating...
I think you are right and we can use this cars as puzzles, but if, for any reason, somebody don't want to make it, he is free to use this place.
Probably I don't get the point of this arguing...I mean, why give points here when all the site is about this in the main part? Why don't post obscure cars (even for the topic starter) in the main part? Why don't let anyone do whatever he likes (inside the limits of course)? Why can't we be friends? Why I can't find a parking spot near the place I'm going? Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Where did I put my pills?

As the originator of this thread, I'll be happy to give a point to anybody who can determine what the car I posted is. The only reason that I didn't post it as a puzzle is because if somebody said it was a 1972 Flaginator Belchoil II, I'd have no way of knowing if they were right.

Beyond that, errrr.... carry on the squabble gents! I've got nothing to add.

Oh wait, I actually have something add to my original post. After too much time spent, I finally decided that the original car is a modified Sebring Kit car with the canopy removed. You can even see the arms for lifting the roof if you kinda squint your eyes, tilt your head, lick your knees and hop about on all fours.

Since nobody has proven me wrong, I've decided that the name of this car is the Flaginator Belchoil and have awarded myself a point. Yeah, it's illegal, but I live on the edge.

This one is a real mystery. I know at least three clueless forums. (No, it's NOT from another mystery car thread)

What about your support?

This may look stupid but I can't identify this oldtimer. I thought a lot about if I should post it or not cause it might be too easy for AP and insult you puzzlers. Nevertheless, This is the car, too obviously american.

Can anyone help? I think this picture has been entered by someone, and I know the answer. But I can't find the puzzle :-[ Maybe the author would respond? Thanks.

For the first one I have nothing.
For the second I have something about Michelotti (what could absolutely false), but this doesn't provide any positive results...
For the third one only Terra name which doesn't mean anything for me   :(..

Second one is the last car design of Michelotti called "Villedeuxmille" and was shown 1990 in Torino. It only was a non-functional maquette for a five-door MPV.
After head of design Tateo Ushida left the company in 1989 Michelotti stopped their automotive activities.

As far as I know this car should Mercedes-Benz C111-3, but in all pictures I have seen it has single tailfin, while in the picture below I can see two tailfins and different front end. Could someone explain me this? Thank You!

UPDATE! It in fact should be Mercedes-Benz C111-4   ::)
