There are a couple of books dedicated to the Maharajas of India and their cars.
The one in my library is "Les Automobiles des Maharajas" by Sharada Dwivedi & Manvendra Singh Barwani.
It is a beautifully produced book with 324 pages, fully illustrated with period sepia photos and illustrations and published by Editions White Star, Paris 2008. It is in French. ISBN: 978-886112-156-0

There was an English language edition published in 2003 by Eminence Designs, Bombay in softback. I haven't seen this edition but it appears to contain the same number of pages. ISBN: 8190060287

Another one that I haven't seen either is "The Maharajas & their Magnificent Motor Cars" by Gautam Sen.
It contains 384 pages and 592 photos both period and contemporary. Published by Haynes in 2011, it's written in English and is readily available via Amazon in the USA for a very reasonable price. ISBN: 978-08573-306-35

Here's an illustration from the French book of a Rolls-Royce Phantom II -

rosenbergm, please read this. Here's an enthusiast, just like you, who came up with a great website, only to realise that it's very difficult to actually make money out of it:
