That's sad news. One of our members Siata1 passed away at the end of June. :(
I had a few correspondence with him and I liked his friendly and supporting character.

Sorry to hear this. Sad news indeed.

In one of his mails he told me his motto was the same as Tazio Nuvolari's:

Donne e motori - gioie e dolori

Let's remember him this way.

I had to ask Google translate what that meant, since my Italian is non-existent: "Women and cars - joys and sorrows."  A very profound statement.

I met him twice, he was very friendly. Very sad news :(

Very sorry indeed to see this.
We had a few PM's and emails together and he was a very nice and very knowledgeable guy.
He was also younger than I am, so that really is premature.
He will be missed.

Awful news.
Very sad to learn of his passing but he will not be forgotten by most members here.

I didn't have a chance to have a decent talk with him, and I didn't even know his name, but even so, it was clear to me that he was a good and friendly person. Rest in peace, Georg.

I too got his help many times along the years. It's a big loss: an enthusiast always ready to share his knowledge with other car-lovers.
