His FB page tells the story.  We will miss you Ray. No one posted better salt flat stuff anywhere. Plus, too and also, you were ALWAYS a real gentlemen.

Not just a salt flat man, but as knowledgable as anyone here on some of the strange vehicles we manage to dig up.
'twas good to have "known" him on these pages.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Damn'.
I didn't knew him long, but I liked that guy...
I see this on his Facebook page. It's on my HD too.

What a shame.
He seemed a great guy and a real Car Man.
Very sorry to lose him.

Ray was a welcoming presence when I first found AP. He was enthusiastic and upbeat, and kept pretty busy...and shared his interesting doings with us all.
I'll miss Ray.

I have just found out about Ray's passing. Ray joined Autopuzzles about the same time that I did, and he usually had a go at the puzzles that I posted. Like what has been said before, he was very enthusiastic about trying to solve a puzzle. Such as this one;

Having now read his obituary, I have nothing but respect for his accomplishments.

Godspeed Ray.  I only "knew" you through this forum and wish I could have met you in person

Terrible news. He was a great person. He will be remembered by many people here on AP and beyond.

I've only just come across this sad news...... :(

Gone but not forgotten, I always enjoyed exchanging guesses and news with him.
A great character I believe and AP is much poorer for his passing.

RIP Ray

Sorry to hear Ray has passed I will miss reading his posts.

He was one of the friendlier members of Autopuzzles , I remember him giving me some good advice when I was new here.

I just came across this thread, but felt the need to post my tardy condolences.

I got my first point from one of Ray's puzzles, and always appreciated his presence.

Rest in Peace Ray!
