We'll miss you. If you're not back before Sunday next, please have a Merry Christmas!

You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

I'm due to move house at the end of the first week in January and have had to put most of my archives in store temporarily. I've also got to continue with hospital treatment until the end of February so my replies may be a bit erratic for a couple of months.
In the meantime I'm posting many new puzzles to keep you all busy over the holiday period and I hope I can answer them without too much delay.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year.

Carnut

Good luck with the hospital treatment woodinsight.
And a Happy Christmas too!

Probably for the 1st time in this topic, expect slow replies from me this week because...I'm home!
..in the meantime, Merry Xmas to all of you.

I will be enlarging my carbon footprint this Holiday season with a lot of travelling around, so my answers will be slow and infrequent until mid-January!  May I use this moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, with lots of great new puzzling in 2012.  ;D
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Again, I won't be a frequent visitor for quite a while. Hope I'll have some more time in the coming weeks/months.
Sorry!  :-\

Wish all of you a Happy New Year.

You may have noticed, but I'm not able to spend a lot of time here. Unfortunately that won't change in the coming weeks/months.

I'm looking forward to better times.

My house move will now happen on 1st. February so my replies may be slow until I'm up and running again.

Djetset

I'm away on business for the next week, so slow replies from me.

Good luck with the house move Woodinsight.  Have fun unpacking all those boxes of car books!

Some of you might have noticed I have been away for some time. More or less during christmas I was feeling ill: Coughing up to the point I had to throw up. Turns out I have Hodgkin's disease, which is a form of cancer. As a result, I will not be online so much.

Well, I'm sure I can say that we all wish you well and hope that the treatment is not too debilitating.

Very sad to hear that DeAutogids. I can sympathise fully with you as I'm still undergoing treatment for cancer myself. I'm not familiar with Hodgkin's disease and hope that the cure will not be too difficult to undergo.
Try to keep a positive attitude, it does help even when things are working to bring you down.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery and looking forward to hearing better news from you in the near future.

Paul Jaray

Be strong, I wish you a quick recovery!

Allemano

I wish you all the best!
Get well soon!

Hello DeAutogids,

Wishing all the best, stay strong.

Woodinsight, I wondered how you were feeling right now?

Rich.
I'm now on a milder form of chemotherapy for the next three months and the cancer in my backbone has stabilised so it's positive at the moment.  :)  The only downside is that I had to sell my Diva as there was no way I could race it again.  :(  Anyway health is the most important thing when you grow older. Thanks for inquiring Richard.

richard cuyler

Hope the milder chemo is OK for you. Pleased that there is positive news. Sad about the Diva (lovely little car!), but as you say, good health is what we really need as we get older, I'm 65 now and my health is not at all good, limiting everything I would wish to do.  Sometimes even staying at home can be uncomfortable! Stay well.
