Good luck, Pal! Wouldn't this be a nice transport for your archive materials?  :D

I just couldn't leave :) Will try to find time for puzzles

Fellow Autopuzzlers, I'm going on holiday to Portugal for a couple of weeks so there will be slow or no answers from me for that period. Thanks for your patience.

As the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed gets underway later this week (Thursday 29 to Sunday 02 July), I will now be exceptionally busy sorting out last-minute 'fine tuning' etc., so few or no replies from me for a week I'm afraid.  Perhaps see some of your there?

Tomorrow I will be heading for Brittany in order to enjoy my vacation. No idea whether or how frequently I will attend AP during the next three weeks.

Have a good time. Lovely place.
Does your car know you're heading in that direction?  Or will it go straight to the Baltic Coast?!

Thanks, my car and I have been in Brittany before (second picture: https://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/vintage/your-cars/msg193003/#msg193003), so I hope we both will remember, otherwise a good chance for my daughter to prove her map reading abilities.  :)

My laptop has failed and I'm using an old one which has glacial movement. Please bear with me - I will be amongst younger people on Sunday who will no doubt show me how stupid I've been.

All sorted. Somebody out there had posted a video clip from The Simpsons on a well-known car website, and my laptop took an instant dislike to it. Presumably a virus somewhere along the line - why do people get a kick out of this?

Never did think much of that Wallis woman either.

I will be away from AP for the next three weeks because I'm going on holiday to California 8) (The Petersen Museum, BTW, is definitely on the list). I have been winding down my puzzles in the last few weeks because of this, and it has worked out perfectly, because my last remaining puzzle has been resolved today, and I'm boarding the plane tomorrow morning!
I will be back in mid-october, keep up the good work!

I dont let the good ones go unsolved oko!  ;)

Monty posts more modern cars like sports cars and super cars. I fit more into that group because thats the style i've grown up with. If you look at most of my solved puzzles they're all race cars and sports cars except for a few. Keep up the sports cars monty!

Hehe thanks guys. I do tend to focus more on modern cars, because that's where I can find some holes to fill. I love cars of the 50s and 60s but AP opened my eyes about how little I knew about the rare cars of that era, and I'm still struggling to keep up. In truth don't really own that many books or magazines about rare classic cars. I have also posted quite a number of prewar cars but that's easy because there were so many thousands of marques back then that the well never dries up.

My laptop got hit by a virus - a malware programme didn't work and I had to have the hard drive wiped. At the moment it's refusing to connect to my router and I've warmed-up an old laptop just to get back online.

It took 15 minutes to connect to a server, and another 10 minutes to answer a question on one of my puzzles. So I'm just letting you know that I'm not in what you'd call immediate contact!

It will get sorted. I only wish I'd "enjoyed" the web pages which provided the virus (there were over 4000 issues and I've only had the laptop 2 years!) but I don't recall using it for that purpose. It goes to show what goes on without our knowledge. Maybe they mistook me for the Pentagon.

Alles in Ordnung.

I've had to sign back in to all my favourite websites but I'm back on track apart from a very sensitive cursor which has been adjusted as far as it can go.

I'll be busy at work this week. I will attempt to answer questions as soon as I possibly can - probably in the evening in UK time. I intend to promote some old puzzles when I can.

Now away for a few days so slow or no answers until early next week.  Thanks.

My fellow Autopuzzlers, I will be on holiday for the next couple of weeks. I will have Internet access, but very little spare time to check the forum so there will be slow or no answers from me during this period. Thanks for your patience.
